The Cyprus Federation held their Annual Convention on Saturday, April 17 at Terrace on the Park.    The Chapter members gave their yearly reports on their activities and future plans.  The members of the CFA Youth Group (CYCA) also attended and reported on their activities and future goals.

The CFA honored two long time members,  Founding Member of the CFA, Mr. Aris Demetriou and long time member, Mr. Nick Neocleous.

Addressing the delegates were His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Deputy Foreign Minister of Greece  Mr. Spyros Skouvelis, Ambassador Nicholas  Emiliou, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of  Cyprus.     Other dignitaries in attendance were:  Ioannis Tragakis, X. Aapoglou, Greece's Diplomatic Advisor the Honorable Maria Theophiliou and many other Greek Parliamentarians, Cyprus Ambassador to Washington, the Honorable Andreas Kakouris, Greece's Ambassador to Washington, the Honorable Vassilios Kaskarelis, Cyprus Ambassador to the U.N. the Honorable Minas Hadjimichael, Consul Generals Aghi Balta and Koula Sophianou.
